Up up and away - A Prelude to what could be on the offing!

If you have been reading my posts, you will realise I am now working as a Cabin Crew in Air India, and it struck me, why not have a blog on this as well, you know, the way we work up there 35,000 feet in the air, the passengers we meet, the food that's served in an airline industry, the logistics involved in every sector of travel etc. I hopefuly will oblige by regularly posting updates on both the blogs. This blog could also act as a forum kinda, for aspiring people who would like to enter into the aviation industry as a career. Yes you may question my credibility as I am still a newcomer in this field, but heck, I can ask around for stuff, increase my knowledge as well and give you what you require and thats the way the cookie crumbles!!!
The blog will be given a name, and a few names I have thought of are Crew Diaries and Cabin crew (oh how creative!) If anyone could give me a better name, that would be very helpful.

Up up and away.

I don't know if i am to be responsible to anyone for not posting a blog for such a long time...and yet I feel accountable for this lapse. Though I had made this blog just to air out a few thoughts online instead of a diary, this is so much more of a personal space and yet its so vulnerable....Don't ask me how...It's just that I found another outlet to express myself and now i am back here....
Today I'm gonna talk about my job.
No, not an M.B.A and not an Animator...I am working as a Cabin Crew in my national carrier Air India...and yes initially people were apprehensive of the limitations of the job and how it would affect my creativity and freedom of thought.
I agreed with them mostly, till one day when I had a lecture on my responsiblities and that changed me, I realised as crew I was responsible for the safety and lives of a lot of people on board and thats huge responsibility, considering the "Seconds" I have literally to save all of them, it made me realise every rose has its thorns, what was such a simple job is now something which with alertness and timely action could help people save their lives, and this is what makes the rose beautiful, and my job too.
Yes, this will not dampen my mind against an M.B.A and I will still try to pursue a career in the field of animation, but for now my job and the safety of the passengers my first priority.
